    Boesmans het sy beeste se hakskeensenings afgesny en gesteel. Hy het toe aan sy veewagters opdrag gegee om die Boesmans uit te roei. As beloning het hy vir hulle 'n verskalf gegee vir elke paar Boesman ore wat hulle vir hom terugbring. Die gereg het hiervan te hore gekom en gevolglik is hy en sy swaer Jan Harmse Steenkamp op 19.3.1814 vir 5 jaar verban uit die Kolonie. Twee veewagters is 1 jaar tronkstraf opgelê.
