Christina married Jacobus DE WET on 13 Apr 1698 in Kaapstad. Jacobus (son of Jacobus DE WET and Helena STALMANS, son of Helena STALMANS) was born in May 1673 in Amsterdam, Nederland; died on 31 Dec 1710. [Group Sheet]

Notes:

Olof was van Gothenburg, Swede. Hy het verskillende range in die leër v.d. VOC beklee en was o.a. leier van die bekende tog na Namakwaland in 1682/1683. Hy was 'n tyd lank in onguns, maar het later na die Kaap teruggekeer.

Angela was 'n vrygestelde slavin en weduwee Domingo.

Jan van Riebeeck bought Angela in 1655 from Pierre Kemp. Van Riebeeck in turn sold Angela on his departure from the Cape in 1662 to Fiscal Abraham Gabbema. On the 13th April 1666 Gabbema signed a document which would lead to Angela's freedom six months late, after serving Thomas Christoffel Mullerr. She was the third person to be freed from slavery at the Cape.

Angela was baptised 29 April 1668.
